I was really disappointed when Las Velas stopped showing English cinema as I think it would be great for everyone to have a chance to see movies in their original language and not dubbed into Spanish. It would also help me if it was subtitled in Spanish. I think the Spanish would appreciate it as well and enjoy the movie with the original actors but with Spanish subtitles.
I would think the the big multi-screen cinema complexes could find a screen or two to show these.

Great idea Filmbuff, if enough of us push for this then we may just get more cinemas around the region to show regular VO/S films.

| I'm so disappointed with Las Velas, thought they would have at least kept the films going as this was supposed to be the trial cinema before they started showing English films in other cinemas. Come on folks, if you want to see films in English locally to you, get your name down. |
