Can anyone recommend any large traditional Spanish markets that sell local crafts, jewellery etc?

There's a really good one in the centre of Cartagena that does all that kind of stuff as well as the usual fruit, veg etc. It's on a Wednesday.

Depends where you live. in Mazarron area, the Canadas del Romero Car boot, is now much more than a car boot, and offers all sorts of trades........and a place for information of the area... great morning out on Sundays.

There's a big one in Murcia in the Barriomar district on a Thursday, I've heard it's one of the best in the region.
